Do you want to cross vast canyons with ease? Do you find yourself struggling against cliffs and deep chasms that seem impossible to cross? Well, Rope Bridge Mod 1.16.5, 1.15.2 is here to help! This mod allows you to easily create rope bridges that span great distances. It’s simple to use – just shoot a grappling gun at the two points you want to connect, and the bridge will be built in seconds! So download Rope Bridge Mod now and start crossing those chasms with ease!
All you need is a three-part grappling hook put together.
Then all you have to do is aim and fire it where you need it to be.
As long as you don’t also tumble down the edge of the bridge, you may now easily stroll to the other side. The bridge won’t build itself, so you’ll also need to keep a regular supply of slabs and rope on hand. And if you have the proper supplies in your inventory and can see the area where you wish to shoot, you may ostensibly build a bridge for as long as you like.
How to install Rope Bridge Mod?
Download and install Minecraft Forge.
Download the mod.
Go to %appdata%.
Go to .minecraft/mods folder.
Drag and drop the downloaded jar (zip) file into it.
If one does not exist you can create one. Rename the file to Forge.jar. Move the newly created jar (zip) file into the mods folder. Do not touch any files after this or you will lose the ability to play online with other players! This is what makes Minecraft so great! Enjoy and play on! (You don’t need any mods to install this, but it is recommended.)
- Rope bridges to help you cross the chasms and ravines!
- A new item – the grappling hook – allows you to build the rope bridges.
- A “Rope Bridge” button in the creative inventory, which will allow you to easily create rope bridges between two points.
Hook: 5 iron ingots
Barrel: 6 iron ingots, 3 strings
Stock: 1 flint and steel, 1 gunpowder, 2 iron ingots, 1 string, 2 wood
Now the gun itself can be crafted from the three parts:
S = String
V = Vine
To build a bridge, fire the grappling gun just like you would a regular bow. When aiming the grappling gun (right-click), the player’s view is zoomed in and directed in line with a cardinal direction.
Upon release the bridge is built if possible.
The bridge won’t build if:
- There is something in the way (get’s marked with smoke particles)
- The bridge is too steep
- The required materials are not present in the player’s inventory
Note: These restrictions can be turned off in the config file.
If something goes wrong, a prompt will let you know what the problem is and how to fix it right in chat. If everything checks out, the bridge will be built from slabs and string found in the inventory. The material of the bridge is determined by the first kind of slab found in the inventory.
You can also build bridges between two coordinates using commands:
/ropebridge x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 [wood_id]
/ropebridge 0 60 0 20 64 0 5
Will build a dark oak bridge from (0, 60, 0) to (20, 64, 0).
Leaving the wood_id blank will build with the default material, oak.

Q: How do I build the rope bridges?
A: You use the grappling hook to build bridges. It will create a bridge that spans between two points. You can also build bridges on top of other bridges you have built. (Just keep in mind that it will only span between the two points you where standing on when you built it)
Q: How many ropes can I make?
A: There is no limit to how many ropes you can make, but there is a cooldown period after making a bridge before you can make another. This is to prevent spamming and griefing of other players who may be building bridges too close together or across multiple players’ paths.
