Low Tech Crafting Mod for Minecraft 1.19.2 and 1.18.2 is a mod that just adds one new block – the Better Crafting Table. This table is very similar to the vanilla Crafting Table, but has a few notable differences: it has a persistent inventory (meaning it uses a TileEntity to store the inventory), and it can be interacted with by “automation”, meaning Hoppers, pipes, etc. One more notable thing about this table is that while it has the normal maximum stacks sizes when used by a player, the maximum stack size for automation is 1 item per crafting grid slot. This makes it possible to automatically fill the grid for each recipe, then suck out the “filler items

There are a few noteworthy items:
1) The maximum stack size for automation (inserting by Hoppers, etc.) is one item per crafting grid slot, even though it has the standard maximum stack sizes when used by a player.
2) Since the output slot is the first slot to be automated, pulling items out of it takes place first. Therefore, a filter for the output item type is not required.
Due to this, it is possible to automatically fill the grid for each recipe, remove the “filler items” (items that should have empty slots in the final recipe), and then remove the items that were created as a result of the crafting process.
The mod was created by Xcom6000 with the intention of showing Mojang how the default Crafting Table could be improved to support automated crafting devices.
