Distant Horizons has made it possible for you to experience new kinds of visuals. Distant Horizons is currently in progress and does not yet support shaders, but the mod’s creator is aware of this and has prepared for it.

How do I install a mod in Minecraft?
Verify that you have the API installed, as it is advised with the mod. The download URLs make note of this. then find your.minecraft folder after downloading the mod:
• Windows: Select Run from the Start menu. If not, use Windows key + R. After that, navigate to the.minecraft folder by typing %appdata% into the search box.
• For Linux, simultaneously press ALT and F2. Normally, you should have your.minecraft.
Use the CTRL + H keyboard shortcut to enable hidden folders if you can’t see it.
• Mac: Go to User > Library > Application Support to find your Minecraft folder. Finder > Menu bar: Go + Hold ALT > Library should be used if you are unable to locate Application Support.

A: In the same jar with both.
Ans: Shaders?
A: Shaders are not currently supported, however we intend to change that in the future.
The worst case scenario is that our phony chunks won’t render at all. At most, they will render wrongly (extremely bright or very dark). Your millage may differ, though.
Does this function with structures made by players?
A: Yes.
Is multiplayer support available?
A: Yes.
Despite this, the mod is solely client-side at the moment, thus you must investigate chunks in order to use them.
