Do you ever feel like there’s just not enough ores in Minecraft? That’s where Super Ores Mod comes in! This mod adds compressed versions of every ore. Just smelt it when you mine it and you get 6-32 ingots of the ore you smelted. No more carrying around a ton of blocks just to get a few ingots!

FAQ

Q: I can’t find the ore I’m looking for!

A: You probably need to restart Minecraft. It’s a pain in the ass to find an ore that isn’t compressed, but once you get used to it you’ll start seeing them everywhere. Also make sure you don’t have any mods that change ore names.

Q: What if I want to smelt ores before they are compressed?

A: You can do that too! Just use the config file and set it to false, or use this mod as a workaround. The texture packer will automatically compress all ores, so it doesn’t matter what order you smelt them in or what order they appear in your inventory.
