Curio of Undying Mod adds a new slot, the Charm slot, to the player inventory and allows the Totem of Undying to be placed into this slot, either directly or through right-clicking with the totem held in hand. While the totem is in this slot, the player will be granted the same death protection effect as if it was held in the player’s hand. This allows you to gain all of Curio of Undying Mod’s benefits without any of its drawbacks!
When I heard about the Curios API, I knew that I had to try it out. So, I added a new slot, the Charm slot, to my player inventory and placed the Totem of Undying into it. Now, I can gain the benefits of the totem without having to worry about remembering to hold it or sacrificing a useful hotbar/inventory slot. Plus, it’s really easy to access; all I have to do is right-click with the totem held in hand and I’m good to go!
