Wooden Shears are crafted using 4 wooden planks.
They can be used to chop down vines and cobwebs.
Cutting a vine block will drop 2 string, while cutting a cobweb will drop 0-2 spider eyes, as well as 0-1 string.
They can be enchanted with the same enchantments as normal shears.
They have durability, and will take damage when used to break blocks. They can be repaired with the same items you use to repair normal shears. They cannot be enchanted by an anvil and are not repairable in an anvil (as they are wooden). They don’t lose durability when repairing tools in the crafting table, however they do lose durability when repairing them in the inventory (this is only relevant for tools that can also be repaired on an anvil). Wooden Shears have a different name in creative mode so that it doesn’t override the name of normal shears (in case you want to rename your shears).
When you right click on a block with a wooden shears, they will chop the block once. This is similar to how axes work, except that they won’t give you any wood. This is because they are wooden and wouldn’t drop any wood if you broke the blocks with them.
Wooden Shears can be used to harvest cactus blocks. However, they will only drop 1 string when doing so (as opposed to 2 string if using iron or diamond shears).

Why doesn’t the Wooden Shears Mod work?
Make sure you have the latest version of Minecraft Forge installed.
Try deleting your META-INF folder.

How do I repair my Wooden Shears?
You can repair your wooden shears using an anvil. However, they cannot be enchanted when repaired this way, and they will lose durability when repaired in an anvil as opposed to a crafting table. You can also repair them using 4 sticks, which will restore them to full durability (this is only relevant for tools that can also be repaired on an anvil). Note that this is only relevant for tools that can be repaired with sticks on a normal anvil (some tools cannot be repaired with sticks on a normal anvil).
